Dr. Chad G. Slocum graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 1998 and completed a one-year General Practice Residency at the University of Washington Medical Center in 1999, gaining advanced training in oral surgery, sedation, and complex restorative dentistry. As a surgical instructor for the California Implant Institute in Baja Mexico, Dr. Slocum is committed to the highest standards in implant dentistry, focusing on both the surgical and restorative aspects. He maintains his private practice in Mill Creek, WA, with an emphasis on implant surgery, bone grafting, and complex restorative care. Dr. Slocum is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology, one of only 12 credentialed members in Washington State, and holds fellowships with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the California Implant Institute. Patients appreciate his meticulous, patient-centered approach and the continuity of care provided entirely under one roof. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Slocum enjoys camping, hiking, fly fishing, skiing, and spending time with his family and their Standard Schnauzer, Kona.
Dr. Sara M. Lundgaard graduated from the University of Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, before completing a General Practice Residency at the University of Washington specializing in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, sedation dentistry, and complex dental cases. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Pomona College and a Master of Science in Pharmacology and Toxicology from UC Davis. Dr. Lundgaard’s path included work as an Environmental Toxicologist in Washington, D.C., before discovering her passion for healthcare and dentistry. Known for her gentle, caring approach, Dr. Lundgaard is dedicated to lifelong learning and has developed trusted, long-term relationships with many families in the practice. She especially enjoys pediatric dentistry and watching her young patients grow into adulthood. Dr. Lundgaard loves spending time with her family and Standard Schnauzer Kona, and enjoys gardening, traveling, cooking, and staying active.
